Frequently Asked Questions

We know a destination wedding comes with a few more questions than usual. We’ll continue updating this page as plans come together, but here’s everything you need to know for now.

The Basics

When should I arrive?

Saturday, September 4 is our official arrival day. We’ll kick things off with casual welcome drinks that evening (wear white!). If you’d like a little more time to settle in and enjoy Mykonos, arriving a day or two earlier is a great option.

When can I leave?

Our private catamaran is planned for Tuesday, September 7, with departures beginning Wednesday, September 8. Of course, you’re welcome to stay longer and continue your vacation. We'd love to see you on the catamaran but understand some guests may choose to leave the day after the ceremony.

Do I have to attend everything?

No. We would love to see you at each hosted event but the wedding ceremony is the main event. Everything else is an invitation to spend a little more time together while we’re all in Mykonos. When we send out formal invitations, we will ask that you kindly RSVP and let us know which events you will be attending so we can plan appropriately.

What if we can't make it?

We know Mykonos is a long way from home, and asking the people we love to travel across the world to celebrate with us is no small thing. Exchanging vows in Mykonos has been a dream of ours for a long time, and we would absolutely love to have you there — but we also completely understand that life, work, family, finances, or timing may make the journey impossible.

If you're unable to join us, please know there is no pressure and no guilt. You'll be missed, but most importantly, you'll be loved just the same.

Do you have a wedding registry?

We decided against a registry. We're asking our closest friends and loved ones to fly around the world. To us, your love and support is the best gift we could ask for!

How can I RSVP?

Formal invitations and RSVP details will be sent in spring 2027.

Weddings & Events

What should I wear to the wedding?

Our dress code is Aegean Riviera Chic— elevated but relaxed. Think lightweight suits or jackets, linen, relaxed tailoring and soft Mediterranean colors. Ties are not necessary or encouraged. For dresses, think elegant, airy and appropriate for an outdoor celebration by the sea.

Our color palette is inspired by colors of the Aegean and includes but is not limited to sage, dusty rose and soft muted blues.

We kindly ask guests to reserve white, ivory, cream, and all-white looks for the grooms.

Please refer to our Dress Code for more details and inspiration.

What should I wear to the wedding eve dinner?

Aegean Smart Casual. Relaxed and summery. Linen shirts, chinos or trousers, sundresses, prints and Mediterranean colors are all perfect. Think nice dinner on a Greek island, not formal dinner.

Are the events outdoors?

Most of our celebration will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Mykonos can also be breezy, particularly in the evening, so bringing a light layer isn't a bad idea.

Which events are hosted?

We’ll clearly mark hosted events on the schedule. If an event is hosted, food and/or drinks described for that event are on us. We're also happy to provide shuttles to and from each hosted event as well as the beach club day.

Hosted events included: Welcome Sunset Drinks, Wedding Eve Dinner, Wedding Reception & Catamaran.

Can I bring a guest?

We're keeping our celebration intimate so we're only able to accommodate the guests included with your invitation. If a plus-one has been extended to you, you'll have the option to provide their name when you RSVP.

What's your wedding hashtag?

We’re so excited to see the day through your eyes—funny moments, epic dance moves, and all the love! Don’t forget to tag your pics and videos with #branandjere so we can relive the magic.

When will the reception end and will there be an after party?

Whenever it feels right. Once the reception, DJ & dancing wrap up, we can always head into Mykonos town to keep the party going at Jackie O's or another festive spot.

I have dietary restrictions and/or allergies. How can I let you know?

On the RSVP page, you'll be prompted to let us know, and we’ll make sure the chef has you covered!

Travel

Hotel & Transportation

Where should we stay?

Our host hotel will be Andronikos Hotel Mykonos, a beautiful property just outside Mykonos Town with sea views, a great pool and a variety of room categories.

Booking instructions and discounts are available on the Stay page.

Do we have to stay at the host hotel?

No, but we’d really love for you to! We’re hoping to make our host hotel a home base for the celebration, so staying there will make it easier to spend time together and take advantage of any group transportation and wedding activities.

You’re welcome to stay elsewhere if another option works better for you.

Will transportation be provided?

We’ll arrange transportation for events to/from the host hotel, where it makes sense and will announce exact pickup times and locations closer to the wedding.

What's the easiest way to get to Mykonos?

You can fly directly to Mykonos International Airport (JMK), connect through Athens, or arrive by ferry. Athens to Mykonos is approximately a 45-minute flight and a 2 hour and 30 minute ferry.

See our Travel page for more detailed recommendations.

Should we rent a car or ATV?

Probably not necessary for most guests. Mykonos is small, but transportation can take some planning. We’ll provide transportation for hosted all wedding events. Taxis/private transfers and/or ATV rental are available for exploring on your own. We do not recommend renting scooters but ATVs are also widely available, though Mykonos roads can be narrow and busy. Please use caution and confirm your insurance coverage.

Can you help us plan a longer trip?

Please ask! If you're thinking about Athens, another Greek island, or continuing somewhere else in Europe before or after Mykonos, we're happy to help with ideas and recommendations.

Should we purchase travel insurance?

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for an international trip. Travel insurance can help protect you in the event of unexpected trip cancellations, delays, interruptions, lost luggage, or medical emergencies while abroad.

For convenience, we’ve partnered with Travelex, where you can review coverage options and purchase a policy directly.
